Ensuring every child is reached and has access to all basic needs including but not limited to education, health, food and clothings.
Project background and justification:
This organization has been in existence for 4 years and the inspiration of starting it came because we as directors, passed through this as orphans after loosing parents meaning we know all the challenges faced by being an orphan. We started it in 2020 and it was called God´s love children´s care but when COVID19 came, swept out everything i.e. Donors disappeared, many parents died, others become poorer etc. and could not have capacity of supporting them. There for in 2024 April that´s when we registered it and changed a name to HABAKUK MINISTRIES LTD. The population in the area of operation is almost 2500 people and these citizens are characterized/ categorized as low income earners because there peasants therefore have little capacity of supporting children hence Habakuk ministries coming in.
Target Beneficiaries
The public at Kasanja village, Njeru West Ward has a biggest population of people equating 2500 including tourists with over 300 homes and out 100 home, 20% of the parents died, 25% divorced and 40% have no capacity of supporting their children with education, medication, food, clothings etc.
Now it is only 15% of the population that has the capacity of giving their children with the above. There for the direct beneficiaries are 62 children inlcuding 7 children who are disabled, orphans and others and the indirect beneficiary population also is too big i.e. employees of the organization, boda – boda, food, sellers etc.
